At Just Kids Playcentre & Cafe, we are committed to making your child’s birthday party or private event a memorable and enjoyable experience. To ensure everything goes smoothly, we have laid out some essential policies and guidelines that will help you in planning and enjoying your special occasion with us. Please take a moment to read through our policies:
Birthday Parties - Secure Your Spot with a Deposit:
- Deposit Requirement:
- To secure your birthday party booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of $100.
- Party Extra's Deposit:
- For private venue hire bookings, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required.
- Remaining Balance:
- The remaining balance can be settled on the day of your event. You will be charged for the party account, drinks tab, and any additional party extras.
Arrival Time - Make the Most of Your Booking:
Arrive 15 Minutes Early: Your party session time pertains to the party room. We kindly request that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your party room booking, and you may include this time on your invitations.
Booking Notice - Plan in Advance:
Minimum Notice Period: All party bookings require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice. For late bookings, please contact Just Kids Playcentre in person.
Early Booking Encouraged: To secure your desired party room, date, and time, we recommend booking birthday parties as early as possible.
Invitations - Personal Touch or Digital Convenience:
Personal Invitations: You have the option to use your personal birthday invitations.
Digital Invitations: Alternatively, we offer digital invitations, available with the premium and deluxe party packages.
Birthday Cake - Your Creative Touch:
Bring Your Own Cake: You are required to bring your own birthday cake to make the celebration uniquely yours.
Confirmation and Adjustments - Up to the Last Minute
Contact and Confirm: Our team will contact you on the Tuesday or Wednesday before your party to confirm details such as the number of children, platters, entertainment, and more.
Adjustments: Any adjustments can only be made until Thursday at 12:00 pm of the party week.
Charges: Please note that you will be charged for the number of confirmed children plus any additional children on the day. (In case the number of children falls below the minimum of 8, you will still be charged for 8 children).
Private Venue Hire - Important Terms :
Catering: You are allowed to bring your own catering and food for private venue hire.
No Alcohol Policy: There is a strict no alcohol policy, and it must not be brought onto the premises; penalties apply.
Booking Cancellation - Courtesy Notice Required
One Week’s Notice: To cancel a booking, one week’s notice is required.
Private Hire Bookings - Agreement to Terms and Conditions
- Agree to the Contract: When you reserve a private venue booking with Just Kids Playcentre & Cafe and leave a deposit, you are responsible for everything stated in the contract. This signifies your agreement to our terms and conditions.
Special Dietary Needs and Allergies - Let Us Know
Inform Us: Please advise us if any of your guests have special dietary requirements or allergies, or if you have any other special needs.
Surcharge on Public Holidays - Important Information
15% Surcharge: Be aware that a 15% surcharge will be applied for entry, food, parties, or events booked on public holidays.
